Thanks! Mine are probably one notch darker than yours - good looking pairs of shoes regardless the color.

And... I just realized... I've owned them for two years and put one wear on them, thereafter living in fear of the sole. Meanwhile I've worn through, resoled, and halfway worn through a pair of Church's loafers. Someone should start a shoe break-in service.

wow, those are fantastic. makes one want to jump right in on that GMTO for this same shoe but on the 1 last.

Good thing I already have a brown shell derby and ravello LWB, otherwise my wallet would be wide open after seeing this.

wow, those are fantastic. makes one want to jump right in on that GMTO for this same shoe but on the 1 last.

Good thing I already have a brown shell derby and ravello LWB, otherwise my wallet would be wide open after seeing this.

Thank you Sir!!! They are going to be gorgeous on the 1 last, it will balance out the toe box a bit more. If I hadn't purchased these literally the day before the GMTO was posted, I would have been on the list.

Interesting. AE seems to be of two minds about eyelets. I ordered my blue shell MacNeils just before the trunk show and they would not insert the eyelets. I has them added later at a cobbler. Seems to go both ways. Yours are a great makeup and I would be very tempted to do the same if I had not just picked up the NOS Masons a few weeks back.
