I know these have become somewhat commonplace, but still a classic...

Who made them? I do not recognize the medallion. The color and patina are terrific.

Sorry, I should've specified. They are Marlows from about three years ago. Color has changed significantly and I don't even wear them much at all. Thanks for the kind words @smfdoc!

Those Vass Valway are great. Did you polish/condition them or are those the original color?

My goodness those have aged spectacularly. Definitely a shoe I would like to add. Not surprisingly, the color and shine look great.

Nope. They're only 6 wears in so I haven't done anything other than brush. There's a factory finish that was painted on (I can see the application lines down close by the welt -- gotta love handmade shoes) to darken and glossy the leather up a bit, but I haven't needed to condition or polish yet.

On another note, I was rummaging through my closet looking for rarely-worm pairs to clear out when I came across these old friends. Couldn't bring myself to sell them since they fit so well and are a lovely shade of "old" color 8. Guess I'll just have to wear them more frequently! I find the Allen Edmonds NST to be a very underrated model. I love the heavy mocc stitch on the apron:
