1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Some photos of the Truman Boot Company Navy Shell Cordovan boots. Unfortunately too small for me so I'll have to end up selling them.

    11.5

She is a small Great Pyrenees. She is only about 105 pounds. Her mom was 125 and dad was about 160.

    Gentlemen,

    X-Post from the Carmina Thread.

IDK what shade they are. Perhaps you know. The Carmina box says Cognac...

Looks like dark Ruby to me...

Those look like Cognac. Ruby Red is a lot more red. Cognac always has the red tones in direct sunlight but looks more brown in low light.

    Thanks Deusis.

Yes, but there is something very different about the nuances of this pair. I can't put my finger on it...for now....

For the record, this is my 6th pair of Carmina Cognac Cordovans and they are radically different from all the rest...

Don't get me wrong, these are very beautiful...my wife simply adores them.

Very beautiful, but also VERY different....

    Thanks.

Thou shalt no longer be called Cognac, from henceforth thou shalt call thy name Sherry:

Morning sprinkles led to some quixotic attempts to release water welts. This particular pair is very sensitive to spotting, and never wants to let go of the welts. :(

I still love them, though! :)

And for heck of it, here are my complementary colored LWBS (warning: Alden content. Avert thine eyes)
