Yes, basically a dressier C&J Marlow. 240 TTS works great for me with a medium/thicker sock. I could never get the 325 Marlow and Lindrick size perfect. Great finish on the shell as well...no dry areas here.
Damn. Looks nice. So go with your Barrie last size with regular socks?

Thanks Jerry. I just tried with my thinnest dress sock, and with the shape of the toe box, I still don't think I'd size down (I am trying at the end of the day though). I'd rather play it safe with a medium sock...especially after the snug Marlow in my Barrie size.

Great thanks. Will try to get these during the next corporate event...

I thought these felt large. When compared to other shoes, maybe 1/2 size longer than. Width was ok, but just a bit too much toe space.

Going back to BB.

Don't I know you from somewhere else?

The shade of these is far closer to Alden Ravello than Whiskey. This is perhaps one of the finest shades of shell cordovan I have handled.

Those look really nice. How would you compare the color to Alden's whiskey shell?

See above. It is indeed a closer competitor to Ravello.

I'm considering a pair of dark navy shell boots (casual style) but also considering the same boot in a standard reddish brown color. I like the uniqueness of the navy shell. However, how does the navy shell look with age? Does it break in awesomely like standard browns or does it just look old?

Any pics would be awesome, but general thoughts are appreciated too
