The Savile Row Co. shirt fitting question

Hello all,

This is my first post and was hoping I could get some help from everyone regarding fitting of The Savile Row Co. Slim Fit shirts. I've been looking for quality slim shirts with cut-away collars and stumbled across their site.

I have trouble fitting slim fit dress shirts due to my athletic build. I have most trouble in the chest area. I have measured around my chest and it was around 40 inches.

For reference, the Express brand Fitted Shirts fit me perfectly in a medium. However, Zara brand medium shirts (tailored and fitted cuts) do not fit at all around my chest.

Would any one with experience in Express and Zara shirts be able to shed some light?

Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to spend the $20 for shipping just to try the fit

i got a slim fit shirt from saville row co. with a penny collar, not very slim fit, my charles tyrwhitt slim fits are much better.

I found their shirts to be really cheap in quality, the material is sooo thin it is ridiculous, and the collars are absurdly stiff.

TM Lewin or Tyrwhitt would be a much better bet. In fact so would Hawes and Curtis.

Saville Row Co has nothing to do with Saville Row as far as I know, maybe in its history?

I got a couple of the gingham shirts and two of their solid colour shirts. The gingham shirts are very soft and nice, they seem to be relatively thick. The solid colour shirts are thin and crappy.

They are more slim fit than a regular shirt, not nearly as slim fit as BB ESF.

I got mine for $15/shirt shipped so I am content, I would never pay full retail...

I really wouldn't bother with these shirts & look elsewhere as the quality/fitting is very poor.

Yes, i only got a plain white shirt, and a silk/cotton mix. Both were very thin.

Quality of Saville Row Co. shirts are pretty poor, but they do sell styles that aren't easy to find: tab, club collars etc.
