    Such antici...pation.

In the meantime I'm reading Artisan Fran's story about Mohammed. Apparently everyone else is doing that as well.

Sometimes your posts are sheer genius and I want you to know that I appreciate the level of discomfort that you are able to create.

    No thanks

"I'll always cherish my original misconceptions of you"

    One of my favorite quotes

One of my favorites is "A modest little person, with much to be modest about."

Indeed ... Churchill on Atlee ... and an appropriate quote for this thread.

what's the purpose of this thread? i admit, i haven't gone through all...

i just see sloppy pics of parvenue midget foo and nouveau riche midget whnay.

You all missed something important. It's apparently possible to be a parvenu(e) midget? That's awesome news. They looked like they were having so much fun in Over the Rainbow. Now refocusing my goals . . . .

All he's saying is that your shoes look very Soviet, very Eastern Bloc. You know, the sorts of things one might make or buy in a starved, isolated economy. That's all.

You're talking about Italy here, right?

I'm a bit baffled by Mr V. shifting from Russell to Gould in the same post!

    Don't forget Lacan.

Sometimes your posts are sheer genius and I want you to know that I appreciate the level of discomfort that you are able to create.

Unfortunately, the Internet insufficiantly captures my unblinking stare.

There are so many great quotes... One of my favourites from Tallulah Bankhead "(on seeing a former lover for the first time in years) I thought I told you to wait in the car."

Ha, No, I linked the formula from a site that had linked it from Gould's site. So I didn't your reference to Gould until I clicked on the properties of the gif. It then all became as clear as mud. Forget Lacan? If only.

Classic. You started this by taking pot shots at whnay and me, only to end by posturing as the harassed. Have you been taking lessons from Lasbar? Maybe he could teach you a thing or two about shoes while you're at it.

Keep me out of that crap...
