1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Wait, you smell that?
What do you see badly there?

That you don't recognize that your jacket fits horribly (I've seen the front shot as well), is a clear indicator that your opinions of the fit and style of Luca/Mariano (or anyone else for that matter), don't count for sh!t.

LOL poor Spalla. He's merely a caricature of what is wrong with MC these days. Just happens to be more exaggerated than most but really, same idea.

The wrinkles are for the position. Why don't you put the original thread were that jacket has been succesfully reduced as two sizes? Again socialist manipulation ... What means MC ?

Have not seen the front and not sure what's going on with the sleeves, but it's a nice, clean upper back shot. No Luca/Mariano, but that's probably also not the fit/style he is aiming for.

Why is it so difficult for people to respectfully disagree and leave it at that?
Nowadays, everything seems to be perceived as and dished back out as a personal attack.
I don't think Luca cares one bit about what somebody here on SF is writing about him, badly or otherwise.

Clearly, the only correct fit and styling of a suit has been clearly described in ISO 58008 and can be verified by an accountant armed with a tape measure, so how could there possibly be room for differing opinions?
How can a woman like Jil Sander design men's suits? what does she know?
Does one need to have penned a bestseller to critique a book?
Is there an entrance exam somewhere for posting in this thread?

If Spalla is a symptom of "what's wrong with MC these days", then they way people choose to deal with him and the reactions he provokes are an even stronger one.

Thank you, that jacket is a great example of how to diminish a jacket two sizes, the full thread is available. That jacket had only an artifakt that was corrected, and it 's not on that picture. The wrinkles were due to the forced possition. If that guy loves Rubinnacci fit but hates mine I don't care. As we all know who is wrong..

Yes. Also agree , to critique a paint, do I have to be painter? Or movie director to a film etc. OWNED to those. I am against all this squaredhead brandwhores who can't arguee as they simply DON'T KNOW , just follow the tribe as BMW is good, KIA is not. PERIOD. And let me tell you, I don't give a s... about those socialists..

I got an email flyer from the Rubinacci site today. Who could resist a pocket square describe thusly:

"Is the ancient Theatre of Europe, every people of the lyrical word consider it as temple. On the arc scenic, the magnificent Stem of the Bourbons and the Clock, with the Time running with its sickle and the Siren of Arts who obstructs it, among a little angels crowd and some golden figures smiling from every boxes, on the background of red velvets."

I have seen some nice Rubi stuff, but just came across these pics on FNB (I'm sure they've already been posted and discussed in the thread):

    http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/5521/p1020085.jpg

And, I have to say not sure if it's the photos, but I was surprised at how unimpressed I am with Rubi's work here.

What's wrong with the suits? They look fine to me and some bunches you see are probably nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I like the suits and fabric choice etc. Could be just the photo and the robot stance, but the fit isn't as clean in the chest and trousers as some of the other pieces I've seen. Collar and shoulder line look nice though, but WTF do I know.

I think these have been posted in this thread and discussed last year, I agree that it is not clean in the chest, it might just be the cut and the stance. They still look pretty good though.

What a crime of suits, The sleeve is too long The sleeve is too wide at the triceps part while you sure are not on steroids or syntoil to justify that. Unacceptable wrinkles on the front of the armholes Bad waist reduction Totally unbalanced Long trousers and too wide. and so and so... How did you pay for it? I need some laughs Butler a man of your position should knew that. Spalla is right; RUBINACCI IS A TOTAL BLUFF and most of it's defenders are brand wh*res who won't wear those horrible suits if were tagged BOSS.

    Don't sit on the fence...

Do you really like the Rubinaccis?

Luca worked a summer at Huntsman years ago...

I can't picture that in my head.
