Email should work. gdl203 and conceptual 4est are very active posters here, but private messaging them individually may just be a headache for them to coordinate who will be in the shop on what day.

I have actually done MTO for Formosa with NMWA, and have been meaning to try MTM - I have had a weird 4 months with vacation and business travel that meant it was easier to me to commission bespoke projects 2A and 2B in Seoul versus getting to NYC.

How did I expand beyond buying off the rack?

I am fairly well situated in unstructured sport coats - I have a bunch of Boglioli, but I don't see much I like from them in tweed or facsimiles thereof.

House style - I really like BNTailor, so trying to get something made when I was going on vacation to Seoul in the spring was a natural idea

Fit - I had tried on a Formosa 50 coat when I visited NMWA a few summers ago, but the standard pants for a 50 would need a lot of work for me - I am around a 8.5 inch drop, so with MTO I was able to order a 50 coat with 48 trousers, which ultimately only needed hemming. I have an erect posture and am a bit leaner than a Formosa 50, so the coat needs some non-trivial tailoring - I am contemplating trying to reduce this via Formosa MTM.

Choice - I really don't need to dress the way I do, which means I have fairly wide latitude to buy and wear what I like. There tends to come a time where you don't see what you want off the rack
