I just got fitted today for my RLBL at the RL store. Excellent service and the tailor seemed very competent. I guess I forgot what service is about since I've been low rolling it by shopping at the outlets. The alteration charges were less than my local tailor

Hell, the other day at Marshalls I asked the lady to double check the price on a Canali suit and she barked at me by saying the price is on the tag.

It was RL in Chevy Chase. The suit was $550. I think it's going for $400 now. I should ask for an adjustment. Where's the Polo Mansion?

Madison Avenue in NYC.

I find the Mansion to be a bit overbearing in terms of service. They have way too many salespeople per customer. Still, a very nice store.

I'm assuming they work on commission. Every time I go into the RL store it seems like only older richer guys are in there buying their stuff.

Are you saying you picked up a RL Black Label suit for $400 at the RL store? If so that's a heck of a deal.

No, I purchased it last week for $550 - the sa had it shipped from King of Prussia. I went for alterations today. The total cost is probably closer to $700 after alterations.

Yup, sleeves, shorten jacket, take center back in, neck roll, and hem - I think it's a good price. Damn, I could have purchased a new suit for the alteration cost I should have use the money on this sexy choco 150s suit http://www.overstock.com/Clothing-Sh...1/product.html edit: Holy **** .. it advertises as 150s on top and then at the bottom it's Materials: 65% Polyester, 35% Rayon

I saw several 44R,46R - charcoal, light pinstripe RLBL and other colors. I think there might be a 42 - you should call the store and have them hold it. It's 50% off of $799 - they will be shipping the sale merchandise out soon. It might end up at woodbury for $240. Anyone interested call 301-718-4223 - ask for Judy or Marcel.
