I just joined the ranks of pocket square wearers. I bought my first real one today at century 21, a Polo made in Italy mulit colored paisley with a thick navy border ($20 from $70) I must say the hard part is getting it in, but I'm sure I'll get it with practice. To the point...

Would wearing a PS with a sport coat and JEANS seem out of place?

I found 2 PS's, which I can't remember where I got (there is a tag that say JPB, prodotto in cina 100% pura seta, disegnato in italia) any one know who makes these?

These 2 are woven paisleys, 1 gold with white accents and a black with grey accents, would these be something to wear with a casual sport coat or are they too formal?

(Yes I REALLY like paisleys)

How do I get rid of the sharp creases?

Depends on the square, coat, jeans, shirt, shoes...

I guess what I'm saying is that it can work. Just depends on teh rest of the outfit. I've done jeans and a sportcoat with a square, and the square can look pretty formal or pretty "wild" depending on the over all look.

I think a paisley square is too much with jeans. I would stick with a plain linen when in that situation and reserve the paisley and silk squares with at least a sportcoat, preferably a suit.

I'd wear the first one and return the the other two.

The creases will probably fall out in time. If you really want to get rid of them, lay the square flat, lay a towel on top then iron on a low heat.

I would love to return the other two, I just can't remember where and how long ago I got them.

Would they be suitable for casual wear or should I hold them for weddings and formal events?

I think that they can be worn casual as you mentioned. I don't like the paisly ones as much though since it is harder to match things with them. Also to get out the creases in mine I use a fabric steamer or I guess you could get the dry cleaned or something.
