I just saw the latest issue. The story on Cleverley is great. The magazine is doing a great job on interviewing the best. So far, Anderson & Sheppard, Charvet, Brioni and now Cleverley.......

This magazine should be sold all over the world.

Does anyone know where one can get this magazine in New York? I am sure it is sold somewhere.......

The last issue was the third edition and it had an eight page article on Cleverley. A very nice read. Plus, the Get Carter article was great!

I just got three copies of this. It is stunningly beautiful and must cost a fortune to produce. The photography is as good as professional work anywhere. The content is great, if not always what I personally am into. Still, it is miles ahead of anything else out there.

Actually, if you ask nicely (i.e. kiss ass), they will probably send you pdfs of the article you want. The editor sent me a pdf of the article on Shanghai tailor Eddie Chow even before it went to print.

Even sent me recently a complimentary copy of Issue 4, a few days after I bought it off the local newstand.

The Rake magazine is now available to buy in the UK through Lodger. Only previously available for retail in Hong Kong and Singapore, Lodger is now selling issue 4 from its store on Clifford Street, London.

The Rake costs £10, with issue 4 dedicated to British heritage and style, including features on Tommmy Nutter, John Lobb, Foster & Son, Turnbull & Asser and Chittleborough & Morgan.

If anyone can find me a copy of issue #1 i would greatly appreciate it. I would definitly pay a finders fee to anyone. I got Issue's #2 and #3 but they seem to be all sold out of the first issue?

This new issue appears to have a profile on the late homosexualist dandy, Bunny Roger.

I wonder if they included pictures from the auction of his effects.
