where to get Vass online?

I've dealt with re-sellers Ascot Shoes (they list most of their available shoes on Ebay) and Notch who advertises here on SF.

Epaulet is starting to carry Vass, but only have one model on offer on-line at present.

And No Man Walks Alone will have a number of Vass models available when they open.

In the spirit of the thread, here is my pair (from Notch):

There's an SF member who proxies (Notch) and No man walks alone is about to start selling online. Dunno if they'll ship to Oz tho.

Beat me to it Roger!

You can contact Vass directly too.
Mr. Kuti is a pleasure to deal with.
[email protected]

In contrast to RogerP's double soled punch cap toes, I got my cap toes with a single sole.
Mr. Kuti was friendly enough to send me some pictures of my shoes before they got shipped.
Please take notice of the clean heel!

Both the pair of RogerP and my pair are on their F last, made for Vass by Roberto Ugolini.
When I bought them, and I think that price is still true, boxcalf shoes were 420€, lasted shoe trees 30€ and shipping to Germany 20€.
They size their shoes in EU sizes and if you are interested and try to determine your shoe size, I advise you to use the following chart which I have found to be true for everyone who has posted in the Vass thread so far:
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Shoesize-adult-de.svg
If you are in between sizes, I wear an EU39.5, I advise to take shoe trees half a size bigger than the shoes. EU40 trees sit in my pair perfectly.

EDIT: Here are some more pictures of the Vass cap toe, some from a pair I had to sent back because it was back, some of shoes of other members of the SF

Wow. This is one of the best shoe threads ever. Can't wait to see the Audley Armfield side by side comparison!

Hi Wurger, ordering directly from Vass will be cheapest at 360 euro inclusive of trees ex. vat. Since you are in Aus, shipping might be more. However, they only take telegraphic transfer for payment and you need to be careful in sizing as they tend to run large if translated from UK sizes.
