I wanted to thank Peter for organizing it. I just got back from my appointment and it was really great to meet Salvo and Peter. Salvo seems like a great and genuine guy (even though we could not talk very much given the language barrier).

Really excited for the final product next year.

Salvo send me pics of the drapers fabric that arrived for my jacket. cream pants are also drapers. pretty excited.

They both look great. Is the cream/oatmeal fabric generally intended for jackets? I'm really interested to see how it turns out as pants. I've been looking for a wrinkle-resistant fabric like that for pants.

One of the nice things about I Sarti's price point is that I'm less afraid of experimenting. Thinking about getting a corduroy suit next in this Zegna CashCo (#75113).

Kind of a modern-ish grey-green-brown color.

I think at any other price, I would normally go for a more traditional brown.

DW, I think that is more interesting than brown. Looks neutral enough that it may go with your polo coat commission. Would go with a range of other overcoat colours for the same reason.

A corduroy suit is on my long term wishlist, as basically a wintertime foil to the Summer Tweed I just commissioned with I Sarti.

Good question, idk what the general intentions are tbh but kind of decided on the spot and I remember Simon crompton having a similar jacket in at least somewhat similar style. Initially wanted cotton cream pants but then Peter showed me this fabric that’s less wrinkly.

It depends on the fabric you choose, but I paid a little over $2k for a two-piece cotton suit. I've heard prices are going up in January, however. Don't know by how much, but I know the price was kept low for a while to attract first-time customers in the US.

I’m beginning to pull back a bit so that Salvo (and his clients) have more interaction but yes, I’ll be there with him in NYC most of the time. I’ve got a few meetings while there, but let me know if/when you make an appointment and I’ll be sure to be there. Most clients feel OK by the second visit, and his English is getting better
