I imagine some forum members have the same problem as me now...

I have a good collection of suits, trousers, jackets... mostly good quality but fused..

So I started upgrading to a top of the line/ still low cost that I can get here on selected Italian outlets a low price, Pal Zileri sartoriale for example or simply white label PZ. Those are canvased and the fabrics are wonderful... I am still not in the top notch level like Brioni or Kiton...

The problem now is that my other suits and jackets... just don't feel good anymore... compared with the new ones..

The real problem is that on heavy discounted sales stores you can get a lot of great suit and jackets but almost never the standard ones ( solid navy, solid charcoal or with pinstripes ) in my size... ( I am a 38R, 15.5 shirt ... I know the most common of sizes out there so difficult to get them on sales...)

I think that for the standard day in the office you don't need really to wear a super nice suit or jacket... but men, you feel the difference !

The other problem is that now that you have started upgrading your suits, you will need to upgrade the ties...and the shirts...and the cufflinks...and socks...

And then you raise the bar a little and move up with a higher level of shoes...and then the process starts again.

But, then again, that's where all the fun is.
