OK, this has possibly been discussed to death, but may be worth re-visiting..
Suppose you want a cotton long-sleeve crew-neck garment...
You have 2 options:
http://www.berkcashmere.co.uk/product.php?id=110&name=Lineker
for approx. $150
Or you can have this:
http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5228&vid=1&pid=883400
for $20
For the record, I got the John Smedley Lineker....but let me just play Devil's advocate here to see if any insights emerge because they usually do....
What justifies the nearly eight-fold price difference?
In the end, is there a right answer to "One is worth more than the other"? Both have their advantages and disadvantages-- What do you base the choice on?
