I'm really intrigued by their new Blue Solaro suit and kinda wished Spier would make this.

Can anyone comment on the fit of their suit jacket? Based on a lot of the photos of their suit jackets, the top (main) button on all of their suit jackets seems higher than usual for Neapolitan cuts.

Their jackets are extremely short and proportions are off

Based on the measurements they list, they do not seem overly short. But I do see the proportions being off, especially the placement of the buttons. I tried checking their Instagram tagged photos but all of the photos are of the same 2 models they feature on their site and it does look like the buttons are too high.

I can confirm this, all items are well made, but the jacket proportions deviate quite a bit from your usual RTW fits

Has anyone been able to figure out who makes their stuff??
I got curious about this, it looks like their suits are made by Flannel Bay near Naples, the "questo capo confezionato" tag is shown in most of their advertising photos, and is also on the Boggi suits that Flannel Bay makes.

I just got my first item from them (Brick red blazer), it has shorter sleeves than almost any other RTW I've tried, the jacket length is also slightly short. Fortunately neither of those are a problem for me. I really like the fabric and overall cut.

Yes, what do you want to know ?
Which one do you have (incl fabric blend)?

What's your experience in general with it? Would you recommend it?

Also curious about the sizing. I usually wear a size 48 for blazers from other Italian brands, but they were sold out, so I had to order a 46. Hope I can get away with it lol

Does anyone have any experience with Pini Parma safari jackets?
I have several of them. I have the wool version, the cashmere version, and the wool/linen mix version. They are awesome quality and I get a lot of compliments and use out of them. A lot of little details that show they are high quality like the very very nice and large buttons. The cashmere version is really soft but cashmere in general is a bit delicate for my active lifestyle, so I'd stick with the wool.

The wool/linen version is awesome for spring/summer but I asked if I could cold handwash them and they replied sure...and when I did, it shrunk by at least a size or two and now is unwearable. I've never dry cleaned that one, so not sure how that would work out...I want to get another one but am afraid to do so given I wasted $400 for a couple a wears.
As for fit, they're comfortable for an average build, but once I started lifting weights and gained some muscle, they're a little bit tight, so I might go to a tailor to get the arms and chest taken out a bit.

NYC STORE OPENING
FYI, I saw on their website that they were hiring store managers, sales reps, etc for their NYC store. I asked the founder on his instagram if they were opening a store a year ago and he replied cryptically with a "maybe" type answer. I also asked customer service and they confirmed it's in the works but not sure when.

I own a bunch of their blazers, sweaters, and safari jackets, so excited to see them open up. I tried to get their suits and trousers but they are fairly slim cut and I am athletic and have somewhat larger shoulders, arms, quads, and calves. Their jackets fit well but the pants are way to slim for my legs.

Once they open their NYC store, I'd love to get their MTM suits for my more athletic and thicker lower half.
Also, I use one of the well known tailors in NY for my pini jackets and he mentioned that the construction and quality was very similar to what he sees for the higher end Zegna jackets...so I wonder if they use the same manufacturer?

Which tailor do you use for adjustments in NYC?
Ramon at Flatiron Tailor Shop who is very well known. He's one of 2 guys mentioned in the GQ article below, along with Sam Wazin, as where the high end suit retailers send their clients.
