The Patch Pocket Thread

Hi Guys,

There seems to have been a bunch of talk recently about starting up a thread dedicated to patch pockets. I figured I'd take the initiative. Here are some of mine.

All hip pockets photographed are ones from the left hand side of the coat. If I made it a 3-patch I included a photo of the breast pocket as well.

Yeah, the Chan are definitely tops. I do really like the Peter Lee breast pockets though. Curious how Chan would do there.

^^ I think a SF-unapproved cloth thread is also in order. No offence, but SF seems to be unable to look beyond Minnis / Hardy while LP, Zegna, other Italian mills can do far better designs IMO.

Yes. I like it quite a bit. And, yeah, I think the "designer" mills do some nicer looking designs and color combinations than the English. Although they also do quite a few uglier ones.

Thanks, I agree with you, I think you've picked one of best from the bunch. I going to commission a jacket in the blue version of yours for Summer here in Aus.
