might not be best value, but have you tried the none camel Polo coat from Ralph Lauren, just wait until on sale, I like the fit.

TTS is a tough thing to answer. I'm somewhere between a 40/42 and M/L depending on the brand. I have a true 41" chest, 6 foot tall. I wear sportcoats usually in a 42/52 or 41R. Most things I buy in a size 42 unless I think it's going to be really oversized. I took this in a 40R and it fits wonderfully over a big sweater or sportcoat (the 42R I tried on and it was comically too big, and I like big oversized coats, especially with the way the arms draped. 40R I have plenty of chest and the shoulders are still extended about .5-1" on either side.
