I added this pair of Original Chippewa 6" Tan Renegade Service Boot sold by J.Crew. I was able to get a good price for them off ebay. Love the color and how the patina looks.

Just kopped some new Chipp's and thought I'd share some pics.

First up, the Limited Edition Oxblood Service boot. Interesting color combo with the black retro sole. Had a Doc Martens vibe:

Next are these Homestead Boots in Tan Renegade:

You'll notice that Chippewa seems to have updated their logo for this line:

I still think the old Indian Head logo was superior. Wonder why they've stayed clear of it. Political correctness?

Hi! could you post an update on the oxblood service boot? Thinking of getting one myself!

I have been seeing heritage Chippewa's extremely cheap this past season on the internet, they are well worth $200+, much more so $120!

After throwing my muddy boots on the hearth they were too rugged not to snap a couple shots. Both boots are super comfortable.

My favourite pair of boots - Chippewa Ellison.

The fit and comfort beat out my Red Wing original mocs, Wolverine 1000 Miles, English made Dr. Martens, and Salvatore Ferragammo boots.

Given that Chippewa fits me so well and are comfortable, I grabbed this pair of LL Bean Katahdin by Chippewa.

Chippewa Originals seem to be sold out everywhere, including their website. Anyone know if they will release some this fall or if there is something else going on?

The American made models are being phased out.

Sad to see the MiUSA models being phased out. Both of my pairs are still going strong.

Just had the black Odessa's rebuilt by Wyatt & Dad cobblers to replace the fiberboard insole with cork and leather. I am happy with the job and customer service was excellent (mailed them in). He also widened the toebox for me and now they fit perfectly. I was not sure about adding the Vibram Christy but it seems work alright. White wedge is more suited to a moc toe than a cap toe.

Meanwhile I thought I would try building my own leather footbed for the other larger pair to replace the foam athletic inserts I've been using.

Picked up some 8oz leather from the local craft store and am happy with the results. Yes there's a leather wedge in there for extra arch support.
