...is letting an ebay auction deadline go by during dinner because you forgot about it, only to discover upon return that the item sold for far less than you would have paid.

hehe, you would need to do that with any service that you sign up with.. how else could it snipe? I've been using gixen for about 2 years and have saved hundreds if not thousands. I pay $6 a year for the mirror snipe but it's free if you wish.
