I'm tired of buying socks to match my trousers - navy, air force, light / dark gray, tan etc. I'm now considering buying a sock in a single dark color and pairing that with every trouser.

Something like a rich dark brown or a dark hunter green. Any thoughts on this? Certainly don't want to do a dandyish red, pink, gold etc.

A better idea would be a bespoke striped sock containing every color of your trousers.

I think iammatt posted this brilliant non-idea a few years ago. He only wears navy socks, I think.

You are looking in the wrong place. One-suit is where it's at!

Nice. Good to know someone agrees with me!

To those who replied gray or navy - that kinda defeats the purpose. Because with trousers of a diferent color, it'll just look like I mismatched the items.

I find navy only works with navy. I find it odd wearing navy socks with a charcoal suit.
