Also eager for your thoughts on the Penfolds Napa cab. I have it saved in my to consider list. I've been buying much more Napa than normal over the last few months, especially more European winemaker's interpretations of the terroir. I'm looking forward to the inaugural DVO (Della Valle Ornellaia) release, which is supposed to be sometime in the next few weeks.

Had a bottle of Bubo Pinot Grigio last night.

Was it a world-stopping bottle? No. Did it do exactly what it was supposed to do? Yes. Was it pleasant? Yes. Was it well priced? Would I recommend anyone go search out a bottle? No. Would I be very happy drinking it at just about any occasion? Yes.
