Finished a bottle of Cantine Florio Marsala tonight. I bought it thinking that it would be close to port, but it was just odd. I could never put my finger on whether I liked it, hated it, loved it or nothinged it.

One of the best QPR makers out there. Langhe Nebbiolo may be the most under appreciated wine on the planet. Let's hope it stays that way and the prices don't follow Barolo into stratospheric realms.

FYI - Astor Wine & Spirits is 20% off all still French wines today. A few good deals, e.g:

• 2017 Dujac CDLR - $440
• 2016 Hubert Lignier CDLR - $360
• A surprisingly high amount of DRC

I just bought a few Tuscan heavy hitters, so am sitting this one out. But for Burgundy people, I don't usually see better pricing for Dujac.
