Saturday night.

William Downie Cathedral Pinot Noir 2020 a combination of Mornington Peninsula and Goulburn valley fruit. Young and enjoyable right now. Have tried a number of his Pinot Noir over the years never fails to deliver.

I read earlier today that DRC is objectively good wine.

Last night opened a 2017 Petra Zingari, and it delivered a really solid QPR. It's an equal blend of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese and Syrah, which I paired with Berkshire pork and truffle mashed potatoes. Notes of under ripened black fruit, leather and burnt thyme, and they paired really well. More tannic than expected.

I read earlier today that DRC is objectively good wine.

I heard that it's an emerging maker. Price might reach $100 this year. I bought it at my corner liquor shop last week for $46 and a can of Pringles.
