Last visit to Aussie world before heading home. They make some really luscious Shiraz...

2012. So elegant. Full of raspberry and cherry.

A great QPR. I've about half a case in a couple vintages waiting for steaks.

Not vinfanticide as the man himself told me he builds his wine to be drinkable young. For a $32 bottle there is a lot going on.

Alright, 2020 have been fucked up in close to every possible way. One, maybe the first during the whole year, positive relief this week. Normally I take what I can get but this was huge

Maybe a bit young - just like myself - but a bloody good CdP. I would sitt on it for some years if you got some laying around (after a three hours further decant it drinks really well though)

That's one of my favorite lieu dit of all time. I love that bottling and have enjoyed all I've ever tasted.

I’ve been a bit obsessed with the 2019 Les Vins Pirouettes lately. Seen here with a boat load of Lebanese food.

Side note- question for everyone regarding glasses.. I’m looking to pick up some glasses in the universal shape, (unfortunately allergic to most reds so white and sparkling is all I drink) the glasses by Zalto and Zieher look incredible and come with high marks..

but are a bit pricey for my budget these days. Any recommendations?

I just get the cheap Riedel from Target. If you like the shape of the Zalto, Vivo by Villeroy & Boch or Stolzle Revolution would fit the bill and are pretty cheap. The Vivo are pretty heavy though.

Zalto are lovely but very fragile. I like Gabriel-Glas for something similar that can stand normal usage.
