Jordan always swims against the tide, eschewing overt oak and overripeness. The wine is more Bordeaux-like than almost any from California, with subtle hints of herbs and spice, a fresh, clean, mouthwatering profile and reasonable alcohol. Stick it in the cellar for a decade or more.

Affirm the former but could not manage the latter.

I remember buying this and thought the wife drank it months ago. Anyway, wanted a little something without opening a bottle myself and my wife had this chilling. Would taste amazing sitting on the patio in the sun but I’ll take what I can get.

Love a good cava. They can be on the lees for years and those are my favorite.

It’s always fun when you’re stocking in wine to find bottles like this tucked away in the cellar and forgotten.

I picked up some of this label from an 80's vintage (forget which one) and have been a little underwhelmed. Its almost closer to balsamic vinegar than it is wine at least in terms of consistency. I've found it hard to pair because its just so sweet and syrupy but have considered just pouring it over ice cream. I remember it being pretty cheap at least.
