Love Côte-Rôtie. Drank 2015 a couple of weeks back, this 2012 was in a much better drinking place though

I’ve heard Waypoint is a decent bottle but this was rough at first. Hopefully it just needed some more time in the glass.

This is 62% Merlot, 22% Malbec and 16% cab. Not going to claim it's up there with the Hillside Select, but good drinking.

Yeah but probably still overpriced? I love me some one point five but yikes I don’t think I would actually pay for a bottle anymore. I see its around $55. Meh.

Well the Waypoint was better after sitting in the glass a couple of hours. I cut my hand on something and had to go get stitches so once I returned home, it was a good drop.

Haha, bad to the bone. Young but I still loved it. Was planning for a evening on the wagon tonight - not really, but it for sure sounds better - but now I'm crocked and coruppted again.

This is a bit too Caymus-y (soft and plump) for my taste but it was in a corporate goodie basket and free is free!

Bottle from my LB marathon haul. Mild mannered compared to my other Williamette experiences and makes me think it would taste good chilled.

2016 Block Wines Golden Block Boushey Vineyard Yakima Valley Grenache. Light, delicate, florals, gentle cherry. For a $25 bottle so very, very good.

A young couple who once dined at the Big Apple’s iconic Balthazar couldn’t bottle up their emotions after ordering an $18 Pinot Noir – but being served a $2,000 Mouton Rothschild instead by accident, the eatery’s owner recounted this week.
