I was thinking Lancer's but if we pool our funds we should be able to get a nice bottle of their Shiraz

NICE find. What I can find on it says you should enjoy it soon.... on its way out.

What's the story?

Interesting note on it, a 71 was in the Judgment of Paris. It scored 6th.

Oh man - I'm extremely jealous.

Congrats on what should be a special occasion in its own right in opening that.

Hope it's been well stored - don't give it too long of a decant either. This should be at it's zenith now.

first thought: Pio has a Bordeaux? Is he ok?

'75 was one of the better vintages of the decade and I imagine it would have some solid structure left. The Leoville Las Cases of the last decade have been monsters.

'75 Leoville should be still very strong.

'75 Lafite, drink in 1990.

just before 8:30 for me (early departures Friday). But I believe this is due in part to the levels discussion we had on Tuesday. Manton be higher than gomestar. edit: and I really did not enjoy my lunch today. I hope yours was better. Something about it (or more likely me) was just off this afternoon.

Just ducky.

At Rogues Restaurant in Mississauga, ON. A pleasant surprise in this one horse town. Lamb dinner and liver pate starter were excellent.
