did you read the first review there? It's absolutely ridiculous and is better suited for a MySpace community. Phony **** like this annoys me.

Absolutely a thing of beauty - delicate, feminine, almost helpless and desiring rescue. Nose draws in with forest floor and spice, teasing, inviting, hot and anxious. Light in color so that your can see your fingers below the seductive juice. Almost gossamer balance, but substance shines as fairies dance on the tongue, delightful nymphs teasing all the senses. Finishes somewhat complex but no work to recognize such considerable attributes. I have loved women like this...only a lifelong indelible memory when gone. Don't know if this will last much longer. Do not waste on fools.

My nymphs would not only be teasing, they'd be bisexual. Just saying.

I remember last year some folks here got me to try Castle Rock. I could have sworn it was their PN that I tried and I was deepy disappointed. Well, I noticed on the WS sight today, this:

CASTLE ROCK
Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley 2007

Smooth and polished, featuring tarry, black olive accents to the dark berry flavors, lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2014. 15,000 cases made. -HS
Got an 87.

Actually, I love gummy bears. Haribo, please. Get them every year at the Boardwalk.

I don't want my wine to taste like them, though.

noted. It'll be gummy bears and a St. Aubin. But not a gummy bear St Aubin.

Care to mention the culprit wine?

perhaps their "MoJo Red" with its deep Bordeaux color and rich aromas would have been better.

Thankfully, the 'rents bought a case of Monte Antico on my rec, so we are covered for cheap reds.

do you still have that left in NY?

I only had a 2 or 3 bottles, but it was quite good and excellent for the price. The Renati Ratti Barbera was killer, easily the best under $10 bottle I've ever had (usually it's like $22, but yay for Z's crazy sales). I should have bought much more of the Ratti.
