Have you tried Les Petites Canailles? Have heard it’s greatOpened just before COVID, got his first Michelin star in 2021 and defended it in 2024. We ate there in November of 2022. Just 12 seats set up in a wrap around bar facing the open kitchen. Chef Ricky spent a lot of time with Mrs. Piob and me during the meal. We really enjoyed it.
He's a haole, good French technique, lots of Asian inspired dishes.

Interesting- we couldn’t even get a reservation the last time we went. Was booked like 2-3 weeks outI've gone three times now, each time hoping to be impressed, and walked away feeling meh. That's Stefan's son that is chef/owner with his wife.
We just got an allocation of No Girls Wines. Christophe Baron is the co-owner and winemaker, this is Walla Walla wine like his Cayuse wines.
We had a bottle or two in the last year and were really impressed. Get yourself on the wait list.
Got off the waitlist. Which ones did you try? Looks like I can grab the Tempranillo, Syrah, Grenache, and Double Lucky. Haven't been super impressed with WW Grenache. Also have not had Cayuse to compare...
So we have cut back on our consumption so instead of 4-5 bottles a week, we are more at 2-3. This has caused us space issues because I order a case whenever I see something I have liked historically. Now Piob talking about Paso 2023...will be more purchases if I see some ones we have had before.
