Found a really refreshing, bone dry and rather lovely $6.50 bottle of rose from Cinsault at Treader Joe's. From southern France and will pick up a few more this weekend.

Just got my notification for the latest allocation of Turtle Rock. I know I've posted before about this, getting to taste from some of his first barrels in 2015, that was aging in Justin's cellar because Don was Justin's assistant winemaker.

So that said, get onto the Turtle Rock list.

I had a young Beauj for lunch after a long morning on the links with a friend and his son, who is a +5.5 handicap and headed to a D1 school on a full golf scholarship. We played from the tournament tees and that was ... humbling.

Picked up from Bottle House in Charlottesville, where the owner admitted that he only stocked Southern Hemisphere wines in the largely vain hope he could convert more customers to liking them. Well, I did. Should have bought two!
