I had a pouring wench at Eberle once try and convince me he was the first winemaker in history to do a 100% Viognier. I gave her a few, "Are you sure?" and "have you ever heard of Condrieu?" but she wasn't buying it.

In other news I had a Paso Merlot last night. Very dark and fruity, quite enjoyable, from Jada.

Due to Delta’s ongoing systems meltdown, I am currently stuck in an alarmingly inexpensive Home2Suites in Winter Garden just outside Orlando. Thankfully, there is an ABC down the street and I was able to procure some supplies. Serving options are limited to coffee mug or highball glass, I think I will opt for the highball.
