A young couple who once dined at the Big Apple’s iconic Balthazar couldn’t bottle up their emotions after ordering an $18 Pinot Noir – but being served a $2,000 Mouton Rothschild instead by accident, the eatery’s owner recounted this week.
That happened last year (ie. a lifetime ago) in the UK on an even larger scale price-wise although arguably lesser quality gap.

The 100% Meunier is magnitudes superior. Tropical aromas, great mouth feel, citrus...just really complex for the price. The other drinks very nicely too but not as complex. Creamy finish, clean, light mineral...again, great value for the dollar.
