From the last few nights. The Memorious is one of Rajat Parr's and it was stupendous. Great fruit but not over ripe, that "funk" from a good Pinot...just wonderful.

I really need to step up my zinfandel game.

Pizza and zin (especially zins with some white pepper) are a great combination. I was a Ridge ADP member for years, great QPR and never an excuse not to open one. Generally, Zins from great growing regions are underpriced compared to different grapes grown right next door - and often made by winemakers that give them the attention in the winemaking process as they give their 2x - 4x priced cabs.

Agreed that Zin still represents an often great QPR. Interestingly enough, since we had some life changing saki on two vacations in 2018, I've been mainly having saki with my homemade pies.

I don't know. I feel zin is hard to get right, there's a lot of garbage out there.

I am not a big wine aficionado (I check usually the ratings with the Vivino app ) I liked this one, quite rich to my taste. I have another same bottle wish I had a few more.
