Yeah, there’s a nice little pond outback we discovered recently, looking to drink the purple cans we got down the road.

This Chardonnay is fantastic, 19.50 EUR on Sicily in supermarket and was my favorite from what we tried there(10-35 EUR bracket).

Back home costs 33 EUR with limited availability:(

Of course you can’t go wrong with BTs, but I only live half an hour away

PSA for this week only. Code "Adam25" gives 25 cent shipping at Siduri right now.

Fun fact: Eddie Vedder gets Siduri with no labels, referred to as "shiners" in the business, shipped to drink on stage during tours.

Tasted Opus One’s “diffusion” blend this past weekend along with a nice Barolo that had a bit of age. Ended up grabbing the Barolo because I couldn’t spare the $250 they wanted for the OO (even though I’m regretting not getting it a little).

Didn't know this thread existed. Need to go back and do a lot of reading. Currently drinking some K Vintners (Charles Smith) that I found in a dusty corner of the cellar, and it's still bloody good.

Thanks for the consice note Omega. At least we know what wine you are talking about. There seems to be a lot of insider talk here. It's flown well above my head.

I've only had a few Charles Smith wines so I'm no expert but some age probably helped.

Almost had a K Vintner's Grenache yesterday for National Grenache Day. Went with an Epoch instead.

Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, as they say.

I had a mate over so we got into a second bottle. Different approach to the grape, but another fine result.

70 degrees, bright sunshine -- can't beat it with a stick.

The Hansel wines are a terrific value pretty much across the board.

I'm not sure when Grenache Day was but we had a Ferrand CdP last week.

2006 Domaine de Ferrand Châteauneuf-du-Pape - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (9/17/2018)
Medium red, Browning slightly. Elegant light intense nose, earthy BlackBerry, mushroom and pepper. Dry medium weight flavours, plum, berry and pepper and a dry mouth filling finish.

Nice traditional CdP just turned d down to about 6 on the volume. (90 pts.)

Correcting yesterday's oversight.

Booker Ripper 2016, 100% Grenache, Paso Robles. Bit young but good after some air.
