    I only got one of the 2012 and haven't opened it yet. I was just expressing skepticism that the juice is really good enough (even to Paul Z) to warrant the special treatment it's given on FP. It's certainly not the most critically acclaimed wine that FP offers, though I know how a wine is reviewed is not the litmus test for it's quality. Just talking out of my ass though, as I haven't tasted drop one of the wine. Really, my wine palate is not developed enough to appreciate the difference between a good 30-50 dollar wine and wines above that price point, so I usually balk at wines above that point, unless they they have some consensus of critical acclaim so I at least an ego/status boost out of it.

    Based on tasting the prior La Rata I passed due to the price. I can buy a way better bottle for that price.
