2 words: white pants! You can totally rock that with a light blue shirt, too. Brown shoes. Brown belt. We want fit pics!

If you have trouble "pulling it off", I'd be happy to adopt it. It's my size
and conforms with my inner trad sensibility.

Vintage Shawl Collar / Cowl Neck Cardigan. What's interesting about this piece is that the buttons continue up the collar. With these extra buttons it kind of reminds me of a mechanics sweater. Plus those buttons are just kick-ass! I think this is mid-1950s to early-1960s. No later than this because there is no French on the label nor is there a CA number (Canada's version of the RN number). I found that Mitin is a pesticide that was first registered for use in the US in 1948.

In the May issue of the British GQ an article was published about great Vintage stores in London. Tom Ford and Ralph Lauren were spotted looking for vintage English tailoring and I understand why. I walked in to a store filled with very diverse brands such as Dior, Loro Piana, Turnball & Asser, Ermenegildo Zegna, Church’s (I even spotted some vintage Huntsman suits from Savile Row). I thought this small store very fascinating and not too expense. In one of their stores in Kensington I bought these (not so) vintage Etro cufflinks.

I have more cool vintage stuff on my computer at home, I think. This is just what's still kicking around my Photobucket account after the last cleanout.

Early '60s tails; stiff-front shirt is older than that.

The morning coat I wore in my wedding is from the '50s, I think. Vest is at least that old.

'50s? wool varsity sweater. Just wore this to an Ohio State game in November.

I got this coat today at Bobby's From Boston, I think it's a vintage brooks brothers, but any additional information regarding it would be great. I purchased it because it's incredibly cold this winter and the lining is ridiculously warm. The downside is it has a tiny hole at the very bottom in the back, which hopefully I can get patched. I'm really happy with it though.

    WOOOOOW.

These aren't insanely old, but they could go with one of those tuxes.

J&M Opera pumps, produced between 68-78. The J&M guy I emailed said they retailed for between $80 to $90.
