1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I wish Vanda would take pictures of pocket squares both flat and puffed. I have a hard time imagining how it will look like once it's put into a puff.

That is very true. I often don't think much of a PS and then I see someone use it on WAYWT, and then I fall in love with it

I think this kind of feedback would be well received. They take a lot of photos on mannequins and could probably incorporate this pretty easily.

NMWA does this pretty well with their squares, they have a crumpled up picture, and they also feature them on their suits

I agree about posting photos of the pocket squares. Which reminds me, I forgot to post this. The square is a couple years old and not on the site any more.

Thanks for feedback, gents. We've tried to incorporate a shot of our squares puffed up for the two new pocket squares we just put up for sale. Does that help, or do you prefer it stuffed in a breast pocket?

Apologies for the lack of response too. I do check the forum every now and then, but if you have any specific questions or request just send me an email!

    Friends, romans, Vanda countrymen:

Does anyone have the navy cashmere? It seems to have some kind of pattern or texture owing to the bicolor weave, but it's tough to make out on the studio shots.

    Thanks!

Sadly this was the best I was able to do, quite hard material to capture

I appreciate your posting! So there does seem to be a checked pattern of some kind, but it's subtle?

Also, how fuzzy does the tie appear when you're wearing it? Does its being cashmere seem really obvious, or does it just read as a regular tie?

As you can tell I'm on the fence about this. I like the idea of a solid-ish blue tie with a texture or subtle pattern, but I don't like the idea of a tie that screams "CASHMERE!!!" you know?

Its subtle, you can see it close up in the right light, otherwise it just seems like the weave.

Its on par with a wool tie, slightly fuzzy up close, but not more than that.

This is fairly subtle and easily my favourite tie from them.
But i go for soft, ties ,wool ties and grenadine.

    No problem at all.
If you have missed it, you have seen that you can order swatches?

Oh yeah, I have a forest of swatches over here. I'm just impatient (aren't we all?) and I think that that particular tie is close to selling out.

Yes, I thought I bought the last one. So I think it's the last one left now.
And I think that if you like softer ties you can't find better, and it dressed both upp and down really well.
