That's a very nice jacket SB, but can you post full fit pics? It's always good to see trouser and shoe pairings :)

Thank you. Fit pics are more of a logistical challenge, but I do snap them when I get a chance. In this case, med/dark gray flannel trousers with oxblood captoe oxfords.

I agree. There is nothing like having a tweed jacket in your collection. I would be incomplete without it.

That Cantarelli is a wonderful piece of cloth. I find leather elbow patches applied before the elbows wear out affected (even though I own a coat that came that way) but it certainly is luscious cloth.

    Considering buying this guy:

I'm concerned about the lapels. The almond shape that the jacket leaves less than ideal, but I can live with it I suppose. But the notch/gorge looks off to me somehow. The angle is a little strange, and is it just me or are the corners of sort of rounded? The jacket is exactly my (hard to find) size and I love the fabric (the close-ups show a warmer, redder brown than these shots do), craftsmanship seems to be up to snuff, so I'm trying to tell from the not perfect photos if the lapels will look hideous and dated in real life. No returns accepted, so I had to be sure. Any thoughts, gents?

ps. considered posting in the quick questions thread, but figured this crowd would have more expertise with this particular jacket

Those are really weird lapels. Can't imagine their looking better IRL.
