1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

At our old school dinner last night wearing a Brooks Brothers Brookstweed jacket, blue OCBD, and tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, and Ralph Lauren Rugby cricket jumper (and with a birthday gift from one of the girls I was at school with)......

I'd check with a tailor but my guess is that a single meter should do it. There isn't much material in a vest.

I wondered what you guys thought of this... I've had a jacket made, Harris tweed. I spoke to him about the detail on the collar I wanted. A 'tab' in order to fully close in bad weather (a very real practical use for me in the UK). It arrived yesterday and I'm up and down with it in some ways, I do like it, but I'm a little confused.

I've got a button behind the lapel which enables me to button it up with the regular button hole at the top. And it buttons fine, snuggle. It's a 2 button single breasted, FWIW.

Then I have the lapel tab which is part of the whole collar as expected (eg not an extra bit stuck on). But there is absolutely no way this would ever button, it's like 2 inches off reaching the other side, which has a button waiting.

    What is up with that?

Am I wrong, or have they just created a 'decorative' collar tab, with no practical use?

    Can this easily be adjusted?

I just wanted to gauge here before I see / speak to him.

    Thank you.
