There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Tweedy, you must have quite the collection of tweedy photos. Which fabric mills are your favourite so far, and who keeps up the most consistent quality?

Dunn & Company heavyweight Harris Tweed jacket (so heavy that I could hardly feel my friend tickling my arm as she tried to make me smile for the picture), Dunn & Company doeskin vest, Brooks Brothers shirt and tie, and Jim Thompson pocket square.........

Did it require many alterations? It appears to fit rather well from what I can see.

Just as I finished reading the thrifting thread I found this thread that's a must read for me. I thank everyone that posts. This is a priceless education.

Quick beginner question. I've seen similar country jackets in the HOF thread and they look great and match great. This is made by Lands End, are they decent or not worth owning? It fits me very well, and it has color running through it for matching purposes, but I like the texture. BTW, this surprised me, it's 48% wool and 52% silk, but it looks like 100% wool.

    Keep it or return it?

I had the trousers tapered a bit but that's it! Sleeves could probably be taken up a smidge, but that's for another time.

I just received the JCP Stafford Harris Tweed jacket - http://tinyurl.com/oyyno8l in black/white herringbone. For color matching purposes, do I just treat it as if it was gray since that's what is resolves to from more than a couple of feet away? Outfits like this are what I am going for - https://i.imgur.com/SUHm6yM.jpg (not the same jacket, but very similar.)

Ah, another man who appreciates matching his vest to his trousers and then putting a complimentary jacket over them. Well done, that man! I especially like the last outfit. Very well turned out, indeed.

I love the green and gray combo - that's possibly my favorite color combination (one I've been wearing a lot recently).

    Three recent cap purchases.

    From left to right.
A Harris Tweed cap bought from a local street market, and made by B. Luft of Manchester. Not 100% happy with the shape of it, but I'm sure it will be fine, given time.

Then, two caps from Kevin & Howlin of Dublin. I was in Dublin over Christmas and popped into their January sale. Not huge reductions but I rarely get to central Dublin, so I bought two.
A check "Gatsby" style cap, and a blue one that they call a "Quiet Man" cap.
