some great ideas in there, im a fan of darker shades with a little spice. but the fit you described would be a baller status fit.[IMG]

I live in the past. Seriously. Had a friend over a week or so ago who is in his mid 60's. He saw my "den", or what's going to be my den when I get the basement finished and he said he felt like he stepped back into 1969 (black light and old head shop posters on the walls, day-glo painted cinderblock shelves, bunch of Whole Earth Catalogs, etc) About half of my friends are my age, and the other half are 55+. Everyone says I was born a generation or two too late. :lookaround:

ok, so this fit is to keep things going. and is one of my regular go-to fits. though the shirt might vary.
today is : Pendleton jacket, Brioni shirt, Burberry tie. just makes me feel warm, i feel the need for tweed! [IMG]

to see more people post their fits would give a great contrast of styles. and hey, this is styleforum. so post up your thrift fit.[IMG]

Dude this is a really clean look, toned down for you but may be my favorite all time. Could be the hint of a smile too.

Unfortunately not taken by my mom
Land end on massive sale, j crew eBay, epaulet popover spoo, apc barrel, Allen Edmonds belt and shoes one trade one thrifted by me
Over the past few years about every season lands end has a 1 standout piece and I end up buying it if my size makes it to 70-80% off this vest is one of them but this f/w season there is nothing which really sucks because I really wanted a $40 knit A1 blouson to pop up in their catalogue

Thanks gentlemen, I've really learned a ton from reading the HOF WAYWRN thread. So much useful information in there, though, I must say, I still love my navy trousers. I don't care what anyone says. :teach:

I'm 6' , so no problem there. :nodding:
