I would not wear Harris Tweed and khakis with a bow tie and French cuff shirt. But the jacket fits perfect, it looks like.

Thanks for the comments. Its a hunter Green bow tie but seemed to come out black. Why not wear a bow tie with a tweed? The only thing I think is off is the French cuffs but it's the only white shirt I have.

Green? fine,[IMG] just a little understated. there's no playing it safe when you seek adventure. maybe the white shirt is no dice. do you have other ideas you would want to try?

Nice boots! I would have gone with a blue shirt personally. Does the jacket have any allowance to let it out at the waist? It looks a bit uncomfortably tight.

Tough to do a white shirt with FC and a very dark bowtie with something more casual -- reads a bit tux-y, but I'll chalk that up to the picture. I think creased trousers wouldn't be such a bad thing in this context.

Broadly, I like it, but I think a little more ease would be a good thing when dressing this casually.

I think the picture's colors were off. The jacket is more blue and the tie is more green than it looks in the first pic (it definitely would look better lighter). I can't help wearing fc it's the only white one I have. I'm trying to find some bc shirts but I haven't been finding any.

What color shirt would work better?

I actually think french cuffs are great for white shirts. But the natural pairing for a tweed jacket and khakis is an oxford buttondown. In this case, I think a blue unistripe would look good, or even a solid pink or a red stripe (to play with the square) could be cool.

green machine that pic confirms my suspicion that your fit is killer irl the white french cuff is killer with that hunter green bow

The only thing that bothered me was that it looked tux-y, like YRR92 said.

I think all the colors are fine, but the formality of the white FC shirt clashes with the casual tweed jacket and khakis.

Grey Chambray, natural linen, even a denim.-something bold. the possibilities are endless.
