1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I've been asking both thrift stores I go to for wooden hangers. They never hang the merchandise on wooden hangers (so no opportunity for me to switch some out secretly with my own plastic suit ones), only plastic.

I would ask employees and they tell me "oh we're out" or "check the back wall" etc. No dice. Its like asking a Best Buy employee for the touchpad 4 months ago :)

Any ideas? I'd love to buy wooden hangers in bulk and I KNOW these places get bunches of them. Why do they do this?

Pisses me off to no end.

I wish it were my size, too. I was so disappointed it doesn't fit across the waist. C'est la vie.

    Nice scores as usual!

On a slightly related note, I cannot wait for the new season of Beavis & Butthead. The wife just rolls her eyes.

Dang! I'd high-tail it back there and hope that by some off chance it's still there.

No, unfortunately....the Florsheims are a 9D, the Hanovers a 9C. :-/. If they were a 12, I'd be doing my damndest to make them fit for myself...haha. (I'm a 12.5-13D if anyone's interested in trades).

find a store that sells them. i get them for 25 cents a pop at a by my house, basically pick up 20 at a time every time i'm in there. most of the chain stores don't sell them, look for an independent place

    Pretty good haul today:

    1. Vintage Burberry's Trench Coat with lining in size 40S in really good shape
    2. Also Brooks Brothers trench coat (Made in USA) with lining in probably size 44R in really good shape as well.
    3. 42R Polo RL gray wide white pinstripe suit (Made in USA).

As always: looking for 38R type stuff.

Found like 5 charvet bespoke shirts... all 3 years old, all had beat to hell cuffs, wtf? Guess that fabric wasn't so tough, just expensive. Such a bummer.

RE: anybody who has PM'd me about trading stuff, I have read your PM and am going to try to have a spreadsheet put together w/ some pics in a week or two. Thanks for all the interest!
