1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Didn't Powell Peralta come up earlier on this thread? Earlier I passed on a signed Steve Caballero Powell deck...

Interestingly, it was signed "to Monkey, ride for fun". lol.

This might be the best week in the four or five months I've been on here. Some flat out ridiculous shit lately.

My buddy and I in college had one of these. He had figured out this "recipe" to make what we called "Magic Jars"… essentially water, powdered mica and food coloring ... that when you shook it created trippy, swirling fractals within the liquid. We made a ton in all different shapes and sizes of glass containers and sold the shit out of them. One was this very head which some fool bought from us for $150 or $200 IIRC. Ahhhh… college. lol. I love it with the headphones though!

The plot thickens lol. Can't say for sure, but that would really be a 90s time capsule, no?
btw - speaking of mid-90s Warped Tour, if you ever saw Rocket from the Crypt live, you know who they are!

    Yep. 42!

And, that RRL: Hey, how about a lee stormrider, in leather, and weathered to perfection! Even better than new! So sweet.

I'm not overly savvy on what to pick up from the thrift shops, I just look for brands I recognise. If you guys saw a lamb suede blazer that was made in England but without any known designer name on it. Would you buy it for the $25 or just leave it??

I did grab a Paul Smith London shirt and YSL shirt. But unfortunately where I live I don't have a great amount of decent thrift shops :(

I found a suit today from a band I’d never heard of: Atelson Collection. They seem to be a French house, designed by a Jean-Marc Athuil. Nicely made, it’s half-canvassed, pick stitching all around the jacket and I think maybe horn buttons. Fabric is Loro Piana Zelander S130s. It says “Made in U.E.”, which I misread as "Made in US”. Not sure what “U.E” is; does it just mean Europe?

So this is a bit of a mystery box; does anyone know more about this brand?

    Other finds:

    Ties: Tallbott BOC and Drake's

    Vintage pure cashmere scarf
    [IMG]

    RLPL chinos
    [IMG]

NWT 7 for all mankind jeans

    Unfortunately .... :censored:

I also found a white Louis Vuitton business shirt in my size. Can’t show you that because it’s in the wash.

Srsly? Why would you pass on that?!?

Have not seen them live… but I used to work with Jimmy Zero, who was in the Dead Boys with Cheetah Crome who was in RFTT from whom RFTC undoubtedly kopped their name. :nodding:

    Yeah that makes sense.

Denim bros, I've never seen chain stitching run off on jeans before. This looks interesting but kinda silly, no?
