1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

DENIM HEADS UNITE... Did I just come up on some legit Levis vintage shit, or did the opposite of that just happen? [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I got excited with the 2 engraved, made in USA, and the old feeling and looking product label, but it looks like there's fake patina on the buttons, shit just doesn't seem to be matchin up, maybe I'm wrong

I think that the 70609 on the tag dates it to the mid 80's.

I'd say it's from the late 80s or early 90s with that red ink tag. Doesn't mean it's not nice tho. BTW - as a flip there is no comparison between the jackets and the 501s. 501s are king.

I tend to do better with the standard trucker's jackets than the Sherpa models.

I might be wrong, but I thought the Indy boot had stitching around the toe box like these:

HOT DAMN! @ReubenR , dose Bills! Also, I'd be interested in any of those C&G or S&S ties.

I have these exact ones, they're worn at least once a week, more if I have to be on job sites. Most comfortable shoes I own.

That is in-fucking-sane. Good on ya!

Dr. Livingston, I'd love to talk to you about some of those bow ties, if you decide to part ways with them. I have some weddings this spring and would sincerely love to wear at least a couple of those!

Yea i mean I wasn't expecting it to be some Grail, it's predistressed black denim...not even blue, but it's 30 years old and the hard wear doesn't look like it's ever been buttoned, gotta be some denim head collector out there willing to spend money on a brand new levis jacket that also happens to be 30 years old...maybe not though, I tried my hand at the whole 501 Levi, Big E game and I removed myself from it quite quickly

[IMG]. Wool/cashmere tailored sports coat, the tailors tag has a phone number missing a few digits and area code so no idea how old [IMG]

Was going to say. It's knit, which is a pretty solid tell that it's real. So +1 to you.

Found a sport coat made for the CEO of Express today. He's got good taste for how shitty the clothing he sells is. He also apparently mud wrestles in his nicer clothes so I did not cop.

I hope he does not wear Express clothing with those 1centimeter wide lapels.
What was it? Bespoke stuff? High-end off the rack?
I can see the shitty cardboard-like fabric glimmering on the rack from across the store.

Went in the actual Express store the other day... looks like they're making their shirts slightly better now though. The collars don't look flimsy like origami anymore. Looks like they're putting fusing in there now as opposed to the 1 ply origami they used before.

Just Astor & Black. But it was the super nice hand made Private label stuff. Made from a strange feeling Dormeuil fabric.
