1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I found a couple things:
First this thing for the kitchen
    [IMG]
Then this beat up Arcteryx, the logo is a little fade and one zip seam is open...

Yes, yes it will. I once sold a pretty beat up Arc'teryx soft shell jacket for $60...

But this perfectly illustrates why I don't really like Arc'teryx. I've seen a ton of them with split seams, fading logos, runs in the fabric, etc. Patagonia just rarely lets its customers down that way... And they have a much better satisfaction guarantee!

First time posting in this thread. All of these are for me:

    JC Ludlow Cord Jacket

    Suits:

    Hickey Customized

Paul Stuart - this is 40R and Solid Navy Super 120 and fits perfectly

    Burberry 40R

This last one - is this the good Savile Row? It has functional sleeve buttons and says 100% cotton on the label but the suit is wool. Shoulders fit but it needs a lot of waist suppression - worth the tailoring fees?

Holland & Sherry is of the good Saville Row but that looks like they just made the fabric and not the jacket itself. Maybe post a picture of the other label?

Wouldn't tailor it either unless it already fit, because it looks like an orphan.

It's a full suit I just took a photo of the jacket.

The other label says HKTJ it's a label for Hong Kong Tailor Jack, a small tailor and suit shop in Lower Manhattan.

Thrifting around Vegas - opinions? Looking at renting a car for a weekday ($50 + gas), hit about 10 or 12 places in Henderson, and Summerlin / Spring Valley. GW, Savers and Sally's mostly. Of the dozen+ times I've been there, I've never hit any thrifts so no clue if it's worth the time & money.

A little late to the convo, but this is the Prorsum tag to look out for, no? From a super recent mackintosh I found a few weeks ago.

Well you learn something new everyday. :nodding: I wonder what the thinking was behind having Prorsum tagged on everything and then making a higher end line also called Prorsum?

Sorry sir, nope. Check Spoo's completed listings for Prorsum, one of which was an item I consigned with him. Black on black labels. The few I've had personally were all made in Italy, though I don't know if all Prorsum is.

I did this one time and literally found like 1 item in 6 +stores. In a town with Brioni, Kiton, Hermes retail stores, I didnt find anything. Either everyone that buys from those stores are rich tourists or someone has vegas on lock down!

They just used to have the knight logo for a loooong time with Prorsum on the banner, which is a war motto. When they redid all their marketing they just created Prorsum, London and Brit. Prorsum is the real hipster shit [IMG][IMG]

It's definitely not those two d-bags who have (had?) the TV show, that may have Vegas on lockdown.
My M.O.: I looked up the wealthiest zip codes, Google mapped them, then searched for thrift stores in those areas. Still debating...

You're assuming there's no distribution center stuff goes to first.

I would definitely try again even though I came up empty handed. It was fun seeing other parts of Vegas.
