1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I'll snap a photo tomorrow of what replaced the building in the pic I posted. ^^^^^This might as well be a Frank Loyd Wright in comparison.

N/A at the moment (will be in a couple of months).
Left behind an Alan Flusser blue jacket 65% wool 35% silk because of some minor stains due to wearing (guess) but might go back for it, what do u think?
Also your input on this: do you pick up pants with this stains inside-not showing outside-? My guess is from sweat while wearing them (or some crazzy pissing was performed here?). Pics are from Zanella

My NMLC had a few surprises for me as well. There were those Kiton SCs with vicuna in them (about 4 total all same pattern different sizes). Also a couple Castangia, one Attolini, and a lot of Caruso. Never seen them carry those brands before was hella fun to see them out there. Castangia was priced pretty well as was the Caruso, but the Attolini and Kiton were bank breakers.

Found this coat a few weeks ago at a DC area thrift store. Seems to be very well made and about as soft as any cashmere coat I've ever found. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about where it was made or the material. The name on the label is Robert Siegel/Seigel, who as some may know is the name of the host of NPR's All Things Considered, but the coat was apparently made in 1975 while he was starting out his radio career in NY, so who knows if it could be his. Anyway:

I the saddest thing I saw was an Isaia washed suede shirt on the clearance rack at off 5th. Only it wasn't... I'm pretty sure someone bought it, removed the inside label and sewed it into a generic brown shirt. Nothing about the shirt screamed quality or even suede...

When I participated in the last one, I got a pair of blueish cords. What a waste.

Looked like either a suit or tux jacket. It didn't seem all that impressive after handling Cucinelli and Loro Piana stuff at the rack.

Lol BB is awesome, but you're comparing apples and oranges.

It's like gap outerwear vs arcteryx.

I remember I thrifted a blazer from the gatsby collection. Was on par with some of their other regent/fitzgerald stuff. Nothing special

That's the pattern of the coat....like a wide herringbone pattern. I agree...very cool and subtle. As far as size, I'd say about a 38...measures 21" pit to pit, and 17.5" across the top.
