1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

That's the GFT tag. GFT stopped making for Armani in the late 1990s. Which explains the drapey-ness.

I'm about 190 with a size 12 boot and went with the 160cm, but I developed a preference to shorter boards from my park days. Smaller boards are easier to control as well, so when in doubt, size down.

I'd always suggest to go with a smaller binding size as long it's comfortable as you're less likely to catch a toe or heel and snugness is never a bad thing. Especially since you'd be riding groom and hard pack you'll want to keep the overlap to a minimum.

As for a board recommendation I couldn't help you out too much on that end. I haven't kept up with the technology being released these past few seasons so anything I suggested would probably be the equivalent of an unvented, 3 button, jet pocket SC, though my Salomon Grip has treated me well and I'm satisfied with it being the one board I chose to keep.

EDIT: I may be wrong about my board being 160cm, though I did at one point have one that size [IMG]

Ahh Route planning... There is somewhat of an Art to planning a good thrift route.

You have to take into account traffic delays, what stores to hit, fuel consumption, restaurants / retail stops along the way... And then also timing certain stores out to beat your competition / get there when the good racks get rolled out. I always find myself rushing to get in 1 more store at the end of the night, and sorting through racks as they are announcing over the loudspeaker that they are closing. Having to leave a store before you've checked everything is depressing, but it just means you have a reason to go back the next day hehe... Love it.

Edit: In larger cities, you also have to look up sporting events and such.. and avoid those areas during that time... Portland gets completely messed up whenever there's a Timbers game... Such a drag.
