I found 2 pairs of Pitti Shoes Firenze. Made in Italy. However, I can find nothing on google or SF about them. Any ideas?

They're restocking the racks and holding it every day until Saturday too!

But yeah im just wondering since im trying to build a budget on a jobless college student budget. So those $5.99 shirts the thrift store, i really look hard it :p

It took me about 18 months to build mine up. I have never had one of those massive hauls. It's always one or two pieces at a time. The area that's hard for me is tailored clothing. I get lucky occasionally but suits and sportcoats are the most profitable on eBay and I'm up against a couple of people who flip full time so it is sheer luck when I find something. Still, even with those conditions I have a closet full. The hard part now is clearing out the stuff from the pre-thrifting days or the early finds like Boss and Armani that have now been replaced by RLPL and Belvest. Yes, you stick with it diligently and you'll have the same problem one day.

Just to contradict myself here's pics of my multi-tie haul over the last two days (L to R; Kiton, Holland & Sherry, Nieman's, Zegna, Barney's, Tie ****, Armani, + Sulka ps's):

That particular thrift shop is a local Salvation Army-type that takes donations in their community and all their sales go to their food bank. It's a really great cause and they get a TON of donations. It's not in Providence, but in Southern Rhode Island. On a side note, Providence does have some nice consignment shops all over town, but you're forced into paying "city prices."

There is one on Thayer Street near College Hill, another on the East Side and a third near Wickenden.

Great haul. Those Sulka squares are wonderful.

Thanks to all! That definitely was the richest haul quality-wise in a good while. What blows my mind is the Kiton was there long enough to be marked 1/2 off (99 cents). Even if you didn't recognize the brand it was obviously the best looking tie on the rack. I guess it was my turn for the thrift gods to smile down upon me.

The wife and son are napping; time to try my luck yet again...

Very slim pickings of late. I did pick up a pair of near new AEs in a decidedly non-SF approved model. They only cost me $2 so I tried them briefly in B&S, then moved them to eBay. The only other thing recently was a beautiful white linen Ralph Lauren Purple Label shirt...in the all to rare...my size!

Bought a pretty blue merino polo sweater from a local men's store, with wonderful big white natural buttons. Left behind an old Scottish cashmere v-neck in mustard yellow... too big, and had a tiny hole on the sleeve so not worth selling.

Oh! And a Champion juicer for $20!

I hate to say it, but those Hermes are fakes - the label will never have anything other than the logo.

Im sure you all know better than me. Here are a couple other recently thrifted ties. If you saying the red one from NM is real and the other counterfeit, than they do ahellof a job as I cant tell the difference and they appear to me the same. Give me a Broni anyday -- but thanks
